Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cell (PBMC) isolation for global clinical trials
AssureImmune is proud to announce the new laboratory service of peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) immune monitoring and biomarker studies for your trials. Analysis of PBMC can be used as valuable tool to understand the cellular immune response in various clinical trials of new drugs and vaccines. We offer superior methodologies of isolating, cryopreserving, and shipping of PBMC. Patients or healthy volunteers who receive therapeutic or vaccine in clinical trials require collection of PBMC samples in order to measure the response of the immune system due to the vaccine or therapeutic treatment.
The fragile nature of blood samples makes standardization of laboratory procedures especially important. AssureImmune’s main focus is to standardize these procedures. We have mastered the optimization of the process and have validated the parameters such as; use of anticoagulant, the time frame between sampling and processing, storage/shipping temperature, use of density gradient, centrifugation, cryopreservation, and thawing process.
In the AssureImmune’s Laboratories, PBMCs are processed by trained and experienced technicians following standard operating procedures. The samples are processed using density gradients stored in liquid nitrogen tanks until transportation to the Analysis laboratory.
AssureImmune Laboratories have capabilities to process a high volume of samples, seven days a week, if required by the study protocol. We have well-established quality control measures on a variety of PBMCs isolation protocols. We can suggest an appropriate fit for our client’s needs and study protocol requirements.
